My husband and I teamed up in real estate investing back in 2017, sparked by one of my many bright ideas—this time, flipping houses.

Knowing James’s knack for all things handy, I decided to ease him into the idea with a few “trial runs” around the house. A backsplash here, a powder room vanity there—he tackled each project with a mix of grace, ease, and a surprising talent for solving problems he’d never encountered before.

It didn’t take long for me to realize we made a pretty solid team. After all, with his hands-on skills and my knack for strategy, what could possibly go wrong?

By 2018, the Austin House Flipper team was officially born, and together, we’ve been making real estate magic ever since!
